When calculating the min/max value of degrees for the servo, is the 1500 neutral setting 90 degrees? I’ve been playing with a new quad design and I’m having trouble accurate accounting for the min/max settings, especially for the coax server.
Hi.
1500 would center the servo, this would be considered, 0 degree.
There for to turn +90 degrees clock wise it would be 2500 and counter clock wise is 500 for -90 from center. 45 degrees is 1500 ± 500. Eg 2000 or 1000.
These are ball park values. Each servo is different. Use an offset to fine tune your centered position, it may be 1515, or 1480, etc. Then rotate the output to +90°, note the pulse required, then move the servo -90° and note the pulse required. You now know where 0° is (1500) and where +/- 90° is. 8)
