Buying a Shapeoko in Europe

Hi,

Looking at getting a Shapeoko in Europe and hoping to find someone who already has one to get their impressions of it if I can?

Do you own one? Do you have time to share the experience of using in Europe?

I still don’t own a Shapeoko machine, but I am located in Europe. As far as I know, it is not easy to get this machine in Europe due to limited stock, but you can check here what does RobotShop sell from Carbide 3D: https://eu.robotshop.com/collections/carbide-33

What else, I know is that Carbide Router works only on 110V so it is not sold in Europe, but good replacement in Europe can be Makita RT0700C.

Also, Shapeoko machines have power supply that will work both on 110V and 220V, but this will come with US style plug, so you need to have adapter for this. For example, this one should work fine: https://eu.robotshop.com/products/universal-plug-adapter-w-dual-usb-port-euusukau

Regarding how the machine itself works, there are a lot of examples on Carbide 3D forum, and this experience should be same whether you are in Europe, USA or somewhere else I guess?
