HI, I’m building a robot have not picked a chassis but it will be a wheeled and tracked robot , I do have some parts like;[h2]Arduino Mega 2560 Microcontroller Rev3 ,Bluetooth Shield for Arduino (Master Slave),XBee 2mW Wire Antenna - Series 2.[/h2]

I like help finding the right type of ; motor & actuators (don’t know if I need two), motorcontrollers and power system to get. I also wanted to add some LED lights my robot. Could you help with the missing parts and if I need to buy more parts?

After thinking I’m just going with a kit. b/c it comes with the all need motor parts and and sabertooth motor driver with transmitter and receiver radio controller. I was thinking of Lynxmotion Aluminum A4WD1 Kit for RC or Lynxmotion Tri-Track Chassis RC Combo Kit . Will I still need to buy microcontroller and shield still if I wanted to add lots of lights maybe an arm ? Which one would be most easy to add on too ? Can extra decks be add to both ?

If you’re choosing to use an Arduino microcontroller, you don’t really need the RC version of either platform. You might consider the PS2 setup for the A4WD1:

This already includes an Arduino-compatible Botoarduino microcontroller.
The A4WD1 is the most versatile when it comes to add-ons. The deck is meant to be used with the A4WD1.
