Building a Track Robot (help/tips)

hi, I’m building a track robot (Im new in robotics) and I was wondering what do I need. (I already did my research but I still need more help/tips) Like how many actuators I need or how what type of stuff I need etc.

Yup, I’m starting with a custom build and here’s my robot design for it.

So if I have four tracks like wheels? I need four DC motors? I presume. And what stuff do I need?
Like a Micro-controller?

You essentially want to build something similar to the Tri-Track:

We offer all these parts separately, except for the frame, which it sounds like you want to custom build.
You really only need one DC gear motor per track.

Not really, you only need one motor per side.
