Building a drone

I am building a drone that is needed to withstand high temperatures associated with structural fires (600 C or 1100 F). I’ve decided that a carbon fiber frame would be best. I am low on time so would need kit instead of building everything from scratch, however I need the ability to alter some aspects and add others so that I can make the drone fly in such extreme temperatures. What product would be best for my needs that is 275$ USD or less. Thank you.

Hi Jaxon925,

That’s a very high temperature and we do not think you can fly any drones if those are the required temperatures.
For example, the solder on PCBs melts at around 188deg C so you will not even be able to have electronics on board.

Most ready-made frames will include parts made of plastic which will not work in your situation.
Our Lynxmotion HQuad500 is made of G10 (material used in flame retardant applications) and Aluminum clamps so in theory it can handle some heat but many other components which you will add might not.
