I have been looking for this toy for years. Yes I always thought the little toy might be out there somewhere but I never dreamed that the blueprints for the BIG one would ever be available. I am on a fixed income, so I always figured if I ever did find the BIG guy, I probably wouldn’t be able to afford it. But it’s nice to know someone out there could. If this idea plays out and the little ones are released for sale, I hope the arms are REMOTELY movable and HEAD, EYE LEDS etc.
I would love to own a jonny 5 robot it is the coolest robot.
And i’m sure it will do very well if it ever gets put on the market.
I’ll do every thing i can to get one or more.
And if there is a build your own jonny 5 robot.
I think that will be a big hit as well maybe even bigger.
Then just buying a robot because with the build your own jonny 5.
Will give you the opportunity to build one your self.
So i think it should be put out on the market.
A new movie would be great too!

It’s been 7 years since this post, come on, how come the j’5 kits are not available yet ? The small j’5 remote control robot from short circuit 2 would be just great.
I recently bought an older travel trailer and when you open up the rock guard, it looks like the eyebrows of Johnny 5. The trailer is now named the same and it would be great if a Johnny 5 toy were to be made. I would buy one in a heartbeat!

That would be great if blueprints were to be released, or at least maybe a kit of parts of the more harder to make bits.
It was a great film, and nothing has matched since its release.
Eric Allard has my full support for such plans and i would be willing to help out as i have a history / background in such things

Johnny 5 is indeed an awesome robot. Maybe somebody from the community would like to build one ans show it off.
