I see a number or nice looking pan and tilts using servo motors on the web site.
Are there any similar 12VDC brushed motor pan and tilts which also off some form of position feedback?

All of Robotshop’s pan/tilt system are based on servo motors as they are way more precise and efficient than brushed DC motors.
You should probably think about using a DC/DC converter to drop the voltage to something usable by servos. I can suggest you a system if you tell me the weight/application of your setup.
