Brushed Motor Controller

I’m trying to help out the sister in law by modifying a power wheels car for them. They have a son that’s had a brain surgery and its a fun way to help him learn, etc to get back on track. I can find everything I need pretty cheap except for this brushed DC motor controller. Spark sold one for $40 but has been out of stock and I will need two. I’ll put the link in at the bottom but does anyone know any alternatives that would work? I’ve seen one that I think may and I’ll puts that as well but I figure I’d ask (just don’t have the extra income to buy things that won’t work for trial and error). Thanks everyone!

Hi @Kevin4760

Do you have any idea of the voltage and current needed for the motors you have?
This would be helpful in order to suggest you a motor controller to fit your needs.

I’m not sure but I can try to get in there and see. I know it’s going to be the 12v power wheels battery that I’m using. Thanks for the idea to get that info, still a bit of a novice at this.
