I have a break in the X axis ribbon cable (Right at the roll pin) on my Replicator 2 and came here to the Robotshop to buy replacements but Im confused by the list of parts I may need to order. I think I need to buy the E-XYZ Motor cable harness (Rev 2) product code: RB-Mkb-01 but it says it must be used with Replicator 2 2/2X jumper cable - X Motor product code RB-Mkb-02. Does that mean I must purchase that as well in order to complete the task? Are there ant other items I must also order to get this Rep two running again? [highlight=#ffffff]
The original harness for the Replicator 2 is in one piece but the new cable is split in two for the X axis motor.
They did that so if your cable fail later on, you will be able to replace just the small jumper cable instead of the whole harness.
hi, i have a failed 1 piece harness and have bought a rev 2 harness - before i realised it was different to the one on my machine. Will it fit? it has black square things on the cables which i dont have locators for. i also bought the jumper cable. Help!
sorted it - it works but the black squares just float about in the motherboard cover.
for the record the issue i was having was stepped prints on the X-axis. it would do it differently every time i set off the same file so i knew it wasnt the file at fault.
