Brat walking problems

I’ve had my brat for about a month and I jest cant get it to walk straight. :frowning: Im wondering if any one can help me?

The Brat is not going to be able to walk a straight line because of play in the assembly as well as the terrain that causes the bot to track in different directions. You can however improve the walking straight, by making sure the servos are zeroed properly using the offsets in visual sequencer. When the Brat was assembled, the brackets need to be square and the feet need to be parallel when at home position. If the feet are toe in or toe out, then it is likely that the brackets were assembled a little out from square.

These parts need to be assembled on a flat true surface:

Take extra care when tightening the fasteners so that they don’t shift:

It’s important that all the brackets assembled as true as possible for best performance.

The assembly guide is here. lynxmotion.com/images/html/build104.htm

We add small felt pads on the 4 corners of the feet. This will help it walk more repeatably.

Are you controlling from SEQ, PS2, Autonomously, what?

Did you do a good servo calibration?

Im controlling it with the ps2 controller but im thinking about converting it to autonomous
