Hi: Just bought a Brat and am happily putting it together. The HS-485HB servos came with a special thin nut and black bolt to use since the servos are taller than stock, but the nut and bolt don’t match – the nut is smaller and can’t be threaded on. What am I missing? Thanks…
We found a problem and are fixing it. The 485 is taller and there are two methods to make them fit into the brackets. The first version is to install the screw from the outside in, with the thinner nut on the inside of the bracket. The other method is to install the screw from the inside out, with the normal nut on the outside. Basically the thinner nut and the screw head are about the same height. So to get you going just use method two. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Also note that the ASB13 bracket won’t take two of the taller servos.
