having problems with a brand new Botley out of the box.
Turned on Botley and set the switch to Line. Placed the robot at the start of the line on the provided cards as instructed in the manual (tried the beginning of the line and directly over the line). After pressing the button on top of the robot, all for lights turn on in sequence and Botley says “Hi”, but nothing else happens.
The robot works absolutely fine in code mode.
Hardware concerned: Botley
Software concerned: unknown
Troubleshooting steps already taken: tried turning on and off, tried repeatedly, made sure the sensor is directly over the line on the card, tried at the beginning of the line and the middle of the line.
It is a brand new Botley just out of the box but I don’t see on the box that it says 2.0 or any version number, nor on the unit itself. Is there somewhere I can definitively check?
@igor_X thanks very much for all your help. Unfortunately we have already been through this guide (many times.). The good news is that the kiddos are still having fun and if this feature doesn’t work there are still others to enjoy.
