Botley 2.0 forward and Spinning

Hi!

I require your help regarding a problem I’m encountering.

Botley 2.0 in Coding Mode. No matter what program that is entered, Botley moves forward and then turns left and begins spinning to the left continuously. No input stops it. The only way to stop it is to turn the robot off.

Replaced batteries in both and turned both robot and controller off and then reset both and turned back on and the same issue occurs.

Hi,

I just got this toy for Christmas and same problem. It starts spinning (in coding mode) without loop mode being selected.

I’m having the same problem on what I think is a Botley 1.0, borrowed from the library.

Your responses are cryptic. Does this mean there is a manufacturing defect or something, or is there actually a fix for this issue?
