Botboarduino and SSC-32

Hi,

I am having trouble making the Botboarduino moving the legs of my hexapod. Help anyone? please?

  • I got an A-pod and per post lynxmotion.com/images/html/b … onnections

  • I have been able of successfully program the Botboarduino. The Rx and Tx leds blink, I am able to pair the PS2 controller, if I press start, it beeps like if it means turn on, and if pressed again, beeps like if turns off. Also other buttons in the controller beep.

  • I have followed the exact connections diagram shown in lynxmotion.com/images/html/build99f.htm. I have even set the jumpers as in the figure.

  • The SSC-32 seems to be working fine. When I have it plugged to the PC via the RS-232, I can move the legs using lynxterm. Then, I remove the jumpers in the tx-rx port and plug it to the Botboarduino. Every time I press a button in the PS2 controller, the D1 green led in the SSC-32 blinks as if it meant it received data.

  • If I remove the cable from the tx-rx pins of the SSC-32 and instead I plug it to the RS-232 in the PC, I see data being sent from the BotBoarduino. It is a flow of data that changes when I press the button. That makes me think it is correctly sending.

Even though all that, the legs are not moving. They are just hanging as if no command was sent to the servos. :frowning:

Any ideas?

Thanks…

Nevermind. I made a beginner’s mistake. I set the wrong baudrate in the SSC-32. :S
