Hello folks , I have an idea about a project thus I need some information first .
I was wondering if we could 3d scan our teeth in some way and get an stl file or a file that can be processed later on a cad programm . I think i have a way though not sure how to do it . My idea is to mold our teeth with some kind of material
then 3d scan that mold and get the file .
UPDATE :
And the idea follows .
I just read about bone conduction and saw a bunch of expensive bone conduction head phones that wrap around your head thus not your ears .And said to my shelf thats cool but why do i have to have a thing around my head like usual headphones do.
What is bone conduction ?
Its actually vibrations transmitted with touch into your scull and your mind understands those vibrations as regular sounds thus you cant hear those sounds(high frequnecies ) if the device is not in touch with your head .
So the idea is to make a mold of my teeth , 3d scan it process the file to make space for 2 tiny vibrarion motors and maybe in the future some small circuit to do wirelles transmition of the sound . Then print this into some flexible abs pla whatever ,assemble it
and put it into my mouth .
So you will have a handsfree bone conduction headphones into your mouth like a mask that dentists give to athletes , children to protect their teeth . Then you can hear and talk to the phone or listen to music only using your mouth .
Imagine that "drop the bass " playlist playing right into your head and nobody else can hear it (another practical use , no surrounding noise).
Cool huh ? (difficult and time consuming too though ...)
