I am also interested in robot control via bluetooth with cell phone, but consider this, everyone: BLUETOOTH CONTROL VIA iPhone!!! Just wanted to throw that out there, so you iPhone programmers out there, another way to make money!!!

I know nothing about midlets and the process looked complicated. Suppose I just use the midlet that he made, wouldn’t that work also for any other bluetooth radio supported phones? Of course I would have to download the right .class and preverifier and also change some of the id to fit my devices. But shouldn’t his overall code be functional?

Due to Blue-tooth technology we can save lot of money as before the technology we were using the Telecom service provider’s paid services. But on the other hand the music companies are going in loss. As we know that there is a good as well as bad effects of every inventions. I want to know that how much connectivity range do we get for normal blue-tooth devices like mobile phones. I think that it is 11 mtr for mobile phones. But what is the range for laptop or other industrial blue-tooth devices. What can we do to increase the range predefined range. Are the waves harmful for our health ? If yes, then what we can do to avoid bad effects. I want to know the exact frequency on which mobile blue-tooth works.
