I’ve completed the construction of the Robotic Tank Arm with Ultimate 2.0 kit. I’ve also updated the firmware on the mBot with the latest version from mBlock PC.
Then I’ve tried using the mBlock app on Android to test some simple movements.
I’ve been able to pair mBot with mBlock via Bluetooth but after some (not working) tests from the mBlock app, the Bluetooth connection was lost.
From that moment on the blue led on the Bluetooth mBot card is always on, when I turn the mBot on it just flashes for a while and then it goes solid on.
In this condition the mBot is not discoverable with any device via Bluetooth.
Can anybody help me ? Thanks
Marco
Hi Marco,
Have you tried to install some fresh new batteries for your robot ?
Also, can you upload a video (maybe on youtube) and share it here so we see the behavior ?
The bluetooth module is inserted in the main board, you might want to remove it and re-insert it as well.
Ciao Eric, it works ! Following your instructions I’ve removed and inserted the Bluetooth module again, I’ve put fresh new batteries and now the robot is connected to mBot app.
I think the problem was in the batteries, the rechargeable ones, that were not fully charged.
Thanks
Marco
