I am not sure if this question ask before in an other thread but I have a question about the Bluesmirf WRL-00582 Bluetooth Modul. I am using a netbook eqiupped with onboard bluetooth. Is the Bluesmirf WRL-00582 Bluetooth Modul compatible with integrated bluetooth or is a purchase of a WRL-00150 Bluetooth Dongle necessary?

I have the modules (two sets) and run them on my 'bots. My laptop has blue-tooth, my desk machine does not.
At the time I bought the blue smirf, I hadn’t used blue tooth. I installed the dongle on my laptop anyway. Perhaps it would work with the built-in Blue-tooth, but I never got around to trying it out. I discovered later that the “receiver” for the built in blue-tooth was turned off. Maybe I’ll get around to trying it, but at $13 USD, why bother, it’s working!

just for info the bluesmirf module works without any problems with a integrated bluetooth module for example in a netbook.
