Hello,
I recently purchased a USB Bluetooth BLE Link and a BLE Bluetooth Link Bee to wirelessly control my robot. Last week, I was lead to believe that the Bluetooth BLE Bee was burned out. However, after purchasing a new Bluetooth BLE Bee, my USB module still will not connect to my Bluetooth BLE Bee.
In order to resolve my issue I tried the following:
]Adjust the new Bee’s settings using AT commands. I connected to it through a microUS and was able to adjust its settings to ensure it was a peripheral device, had the appropriate connection mode, and has the correct baud rate. It still wouldn’t connect with my USB Module. /:m]
]Update the BLE link’s firmware using blunoFWDownloader. Still doesn’t work. /:m]
]Tried using Arduino IDE and ensued that all the correct drivers were installed. Still didn’t work. /:m]
My current thought is that the USB module is defective (and not the Bluetooth Bee) as it is unable to connect to the new Bluetooth BLE Bee link that I know is functional. Is there any way I can troubleshoot the USB module and try to fix it? I tried looking up some calibration steps, but was unable to find anything. Moreover, do I need to repair/reset the USB module or follow any new calibration steps because I am trying to connect my USB module to a new device, or will it do this automatically?
Do you have any insight on how to resolve the issue? I have attached an image of my setup. Ignore the light on the Bluetooth module, however, as this image was taken when everything was working; I am using this image and not a new one because my setup is identical to the one in the photo (jumpers, wires, and breakout board included).
Thanks in advance.
Best,
Christopher
