Hello, I was just reading the tutorial on blue tooth lynxmotion.com/images/html/build125.htm and had some questions about it. First, what is the main difference between the two types of them from sparkfun, one as a duck anntena and the other has a piece of ceramic or something?
The specs look farely the same at a glance too. Second, can you hook this set up to the Atom instead? If so, can you also download a program wirelessely? = that would be so helpful

I don’t know if the Atom can be programmed with the bluetooth modem. Programming the Atom requires a hardware handshaking line to reset the processor just prior to programming. Not sure if the Bluesmirf has this hardware line. Also the difference between the two modems is the distance they can be used at. The external antenna module has a greater range. That info is at the sparkfun website.
