Blue light flashing quickly

Hi!

I require your help regarding a problem.
I found my litter robot open air connect (not connected at the moment), this morning, with the globe upside down, and it spinned to far and i believe the yellow light on. It did not respond to any buttons. So i turned the globe back in the normal position after disconneting it.
When in normal position i turned it back on.
But it keeps flashing the blue light, quickly, and it doesnt respind to anyting anymore.
Turned it off and on again, nothing.
What to do. I bought it in oktober last year.

Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Hello @Madebymexx ,

Welcome to RobotShop community.

We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your Litter-Robot.

Please provide us with your order number or a copy of the invoice.

You have mentioned an issue with the hall-effect sensor and another with the DFI sensor.

When the blue light is blinking and you press the “Reset” button, does the yellow light start blinking fast or it goes to a solid blue light ready for next cycle?

Awaiting your reply.

Sincerely,

1030090 is the order nr.
If i press any button, nothing changes. It just keeps blinking.

Hello @Madebymexx ,

Thank you for your reply.

Have you noticed any magnets falling from the globe recently?

Please try to clean the 2 green circuit boards of the DFI sensor with alcohol and a Q-Tip to remove any rust from the small chips.

You also need to clean the Anti-Pinch pins with WD-40 and sandpaper.

Here’s a video to help you locate these parts:

Awaiting your reply.

Sincerely,

After the blue blinking light, and turning the LR off by disconecting the power, it rurned on, but with solid Orange light.
At that point it didnt respond to any button, even on/of button.

We did not see any magnets falling.
We cleaned both parts mentioned today, all the parts actually.
After that, instead of the Orange light, it turned to flashing blue again.
Still not responding to the reset or cycle button. It did turn of and on with the on/off button. But after 2 times it turned Orange again en didnt respond to any button again.

What do we do now?

This is what happened.

Hello @Madebymexx ,

Thank you for your reply.

In this case, we recommend sending the robot to our repair center for inspection and repair.

You will need to send us the base, the bonnet, and the power supply of the robot. No need to ship the drawer and the globe.

You can place the globe over the waste drawer and use them as a stationary litter box until the rest of the robot gets back to you.

We suggest a box dimension of 24 “wide x 18” deep x 24 "high. The Bonnet should be put in the box upside down on top of the litter base.

If you wish to proceed with this option, please provide us with the following:

  • Shipping address.
  • Phone number.
  • Serial number located on the back of the robot.

Awaiting your reply.

Sincerely,

Hello,

What do i need to do now?
