I’m building a bird robot and would like to know who makes a device so that when the birds mouth opens audio is activated. The wide the mouth opens the louder the audio.
Also what micro camera and recorder is the best to record the whatever the head is looking at.Keeping in mind size weight and of course pricing.
The microcontroller would read the sound level from the microphone and translate that to a position on the RC servo.
The servo would be used to open and close the mouth of the bird.
Regarding the camera, do you need the head to track motion? Can you describe what you want to do with the camera a bit more?
I have purchased a BotBoarduino board to operate the servos can I use it somehow?
The camera would be fixed in place in the head and wified to a recording device?
The BotBoarduino can certainly be used to control servos; be sure to read through the manual to know what modifications to make to the board and how to power it (before actually applying power).
For the camera, a WiFi camera would be ideal, and although we have been looking hard, we don’t have any “tiny” WiFi cameras at this time.
We do offer several action cameras which can transmit video via WiFi and would be relatively small without their protective housing: robotshop.com/en/cameras-vision-sensors.html
Ihave a Mega2560 microcontroller.Want it to control 11 servo motors.
What do I do with the ground and power leads form the servos? There are no assigned pins for 11 servos?
