Does anyone here do Biped Kung-Fu / Freestyle robotics? I am looking for individuals who would be interested in bring their biped robots to an event on June 2nd in Ohio.
Unfortunately RobotShop staff cannot attend. Perhaps add some additional information about the event itself? Ohio is not small either - want want to give specifics about location.
We are currently in the early stages of planning our next robotic combat (Battlebots / Robot Wars) tournament for 150g, 1lb, 3lb and 6lb weight classes. This event will be in the Cleveland arena on June 2nd and will be part of a large cosplay con.
We are looking to add new attractions to our event; specifically we are looking for something(s) that are robotic related and can keep a crowd of 200-300 spectators entertained during breaks in the main tournament. I have been videos of people doing cool stuff with biped robots and would like to connect with anyone in the mid-west USA that does that kind of thing.

Have each combat robot do a “cosplay” - a green robot can be the hulk, a red robot can be anything (spider man etc), so people can get behind their favorite characters and/or favorite robots. If you find a supplier for small clothing for dolls, they might be able to wear costumes. Little weapons might be fun too.
