Biorhythm sensing using arduino - sonification of data exercise

I’m looking for different types of sensors that would be able to measure biorhythms and send the data through an arduino into other applications. Specifically I’m looking for a sensor that could detect heart-rate, I found a pulse sensor online (pulsesensor.com) and am wondering if you carry anything similar or something else that would do the job.

Can a piezo sensor detect pressure changes through skin?

As well, I’ve found some people online using IR receivers at close range (touching) that could be another option.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

We don’t carry anything along those lines (at least nothing that is marketed for that purpose). We will certainly take your request into consideration when looking for new suppliers. We do carry MindWave sensors, though they cannot detect pulse. Not sure about using a piezo to detect a pulse - perhaps users in the community can provide their insight.
