Best way to keep SES-V2 from tipping over?

Recently got my arm up and running, but found that it tips and falls over when extended even a little bit. I was wondering what you guys would use to “anchor” your arm best? I was thinking of just screwing/taping it to a cardboard box that’s got weights in it or just screwing it directly into my desk as a last resort. Anyone have a better solution to my issue?

You can mount the arm on a sturdy platform or base made of materials like metal or wood. The base should be wide and heavy enough to provide stability and prevent tipping.

Hi pope_pontius

As rooppoorali suggested, a wood plate or something similar is usually what people use. Greatly depends on what you are doing with the arm.

I’m personally using a smaller wood plate with a clamp to my desk.

All the best,
