Best robot vacuum for pet hair, expert recommendation to choose

i am in the market for the best robot vacuum for pet hair, and i want to use some advice before buying. My main priorities are excellent pet-hair pickup, tangle-free brush design, and reliable mapping/navigation and especially useful for homes with shedding pets.
After reviewing highly trusted sources like RTINGS, Tech Radar, and Homes & Gardens, two models consistently rise to the top:

  • Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
  • DREAME L40 Ultra Robot Vacuum

i am torn in deciding which one would suit me best. I need great performance on pet fur, solid build quality, and minimal maintenance hassle.

So which on do you recommend? Any personal experience or insight would be much appreciated.

The Dreame L40 Ultra is generally better for pet hair due to its higher suction power and a specialized brush that cuts hair to prevent tangles. While both are excellent, the Dreame’s features give it a slight edge in handling the specific challenges of pet hair.
