Best Dc motor controller with analogue control signal

Hi all,
We are designing and manufacturing a mobile robot with professional training students. In our case, the translation movement will be generated by 2 Dc motors, to be able to turn to both directions. Both motors are 24 Vdc and 9 A. We would like to regulate/adjust the speed of the robot with a Dc voltage controller but using a 0 - 5 V control signal coming from a PLC analogue output (2 analogue outputs for 2 dc motor controllers).
I can’t find the best Controller reference in Roboshop web. Could anyone help me please?
Best regards
Haritz

Hello @Hbarrutia and welcome to the RobotShop forum!

You can find lots of options in the Analog Voltage DC Controllers section of the store. Here are some good ones:

Those are dual motor controllers so you would only need one to control the 2 motors, but if you want two separate ones for some reason here’s a nice one:

Let me know if you need more help

Thanks a lot!!
But I have seen that the first 2 models are not in the stock. Hope to be in stock by the end of March. How long does it take shipping to Spain?

This one is in stock if you are interested:

If you want to have an estimate of the shipping time you can add it to your cart and add your ZIP Code.

Hi,
if I understand correctly, the analogue signal is only between 0 and 2V, so if I want to control it through an analogue output of a PLC I am very limited in the output range. I want the students to learn how to regulate an analogue output with the PLC.
Is there any controller that can receive at least 0-5V?
Or can you suggest a controller that can receive between 0 and 5V?
Shipping would be to Spain and to the 20600 zip code, Mondragon.

You are correct, the RoboClaw controllers have an analog input range of 0 to 2V, but the Dimension Engineering (Sabertooth and Syren) controllers have a valid input range from 0 to 5V.

As the Sabertooth Dual 12A 6V-24V Regenerative Motor Driver isn’t in stock on the Spain platform at the moment and due to the current pandemic shipping times are not guaranteed. However, I added it to my cart on the US platform and got these estimates (for reference):
