I am a total newbie with this. I have basic knowledge of electricity and can follow a plan, but can’t read symbols for relays, etc.
I have been looking all over the net for a wiring diagram which incorporates a twilight switch activating a linear actuator. The actuator cuts out at full extension and full contraction…
My idea is that the Chicken coop door will open in the morning, and close at night.
I’ve found a few designs, but for the life of me, they don’t want to work with me!!
I’ve gathered so far I will need two 12v relays (as per the attached pic) and the switch (pic also attached)
If someone can help me out with a wiring diagram (with the connections on the relay numbered… 85 , 86, 30, etc) I would be SO GRATEFUL!

Hi,
The Relay you have is an SPDT relay. You would need a DPDT Relay for this.
Please take a look at the posted wiring diagram.
