Yes I’m making a Sharknado cake for grandsons b-day, I have a hobby motor 1.5-3v and I need a battery pack that takes a 1 or 2 AA batteries. I would a speed control dial so that my iced tornado doesn’t start flying off the cake. Do you folks have anything there I can purchase that doesn’t need for me to put together. I really want my idea to work so my grand can have a moving Sharknado birthday. Please contact me ASAP I need some help nothing in my area.
If you folks can call me I’ll leave my phone number thank you so much, I look forward to hearing from you.
The motor you have will rotate very quickly and is not suitable for a slower spinning tornado… You need something like:

Plus a wheel so you have more of a “base”:

Power using 3xAA alkaline batteries:

We’d love to see a photo or video when it’s done!
Thank you for your help with trying to make Sharknado cake spin, was going to order all the components you listed but your out of the motor until 10-14 and I need it ASAP. Can you suggest another motor that will fit with what I’m trying to do? Yes if I can pull this off I will send you a picture
Thank you grandma247
The previous product was only an example. You ideally need to determine the RPM you need (ideally quite low)
This is a good option which allows you to vary the gear ratio to vary the speed (without any electronics):
