Battery for 2 RS-395 Motors

For our 12 pound combat robot, we are using 2 RS-395 Motors with 2 P60 Gearboxes 26:1 and 2 T81 Wheels - 2-7/8 inches`.

Can you recommend a single NiCad or Nimh battery to power both batteries?

Also, we plan on using a Turnigy 20A brushed ESC speed controller. Do you think that will work or do you have a recommendation?

Hi John,

This motor have a stall current of 15A so you should be fine with a motor controller of 20A.
If you want to run the motor at it’s maximum, the rated voltage is 12V so we suggest our 12.0V 2800mAh Rechargeable NiMh Battery Pack.
