I am wondering if anyone has a clever way of charging their battery inside the A4WD1 without taking of the top cover every time.
Maybe a charge port or something. Not sure how that would work with Tamiya connectors but looking for ideas.

It’s actually easiest if you use an 11.1V LiPo since they have a separate charging connector. You would need to ensure the main connector is shut off when charging.
As for the suggested 12V, 280mAh battery, you’d need to add an additional connector and have it protrude, while also ensuring the other circuit (connected to the motor controller) is off.
We hope to transition to thumb screws soon to make removing the top lid easier.
