I was wondering if I could use a Li-Po battery for the vs on the bot board 2. I am wondering because weight will be an issue in a new project and Li-Po batteries are very lightweight
This battery would be ideal

Only 28.5 grams

If I can’t use a Li-Po battery, does anyone know any other lightweight alternatives, I would like the battery to be less than 50 grams.

You can use a Li-Po for VS, I do. It is STRONGLY encouraged that you use something to step the 7.4V down to 6V though. You can run analogue servos at 7.4V, but they will wear out a lot quicker. Something like this:
