here,s my problem. I have the 560 pet series.
i service it often
we noticed that rather quickly roomba went from running an hour plus then went to 15 minutes at most.
i did the reset pushing both buttons and releasing in 15 seconds and roomba made the correct sound.
i charged for 3 days
ran roomba and she died in 15 minutes we recharged and in 15 minutes the light was green went to run her she ran for 15 minutes then died.
we recharged again but left he charging for 2 days then press start she ran 2 minnutes then stopped then again after 15 minutes of charging the green lites come on
does anyone have any ideas I am a parapalegic and i am on a fixed income i do not want to buy a battery unless there is no ther options

Sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with your Roomba.
When the Roomba dies, does it give you the 4-tone beep with a flashing red power button? If so, then it seems the battery is not holding a charge anymore. It doesn’t seem to be the robot since the battery is able to charge up enough to run for 15 minutes before dying; this would tell us that the robot is able to charge the battery normally.
In this case, all we can suggest is buying a new battery. You can find a replacement here.
