Are the BasicATOM series Micros Powerful enough to handle a vision sensor? Like this one robotshop.ca/home/products/robot-parts/sensors/cameras-vision-sensors/seattle-robotics-cmucam2-robot-vision.html? And how would it be Hooked up to an ABB?
If not, which micro and carrier boards would?
The Atoms are not powerful enough to process video themselves. However, the CMUCam2 has onboard video processing. You may want to look at the CMUCam3 which is even more powerful and programmable (in C/C++ or any language that supports ARM7) since it has an ARM7 processor on it.
