Hi All,
here is the break down on my quad.
Quad: Vtail 500 large motor Kit
Motors: T-Motor 700 KV
Esc: E-max 4 in 1 30 amp
Flight Controller: Quadrino Nano
Props: 14 inch
Battery: 3s 2000 mah
Currently I’m having trouble with basic flight, and am open to suggestions on what you might think the cause maybe. the quad generates lift at about 30% throttle but becomes rapidly unstable after that. This is my first scratch build some I’m learning as I go.
Did you calibrate the sensors?
Try going here and reading up on sensor calibration and ESC calibration (if you haven’t already

Another thing that comes to mind is ensuring the motors are properly wired up - I am having a B**** of a time getting the Y6 I am building correctly wired, having found THREE different names / designations for the various motors!!!
Also double, triple and quadruple check your motor directions, and are the clock-wise props on the clock-wise motors, and visa-versa.
Open up the Firmware Configuration Tool,
click on Copter, and hover your mouse over the picture of the quad. The motors will animate to tell you which should be going which way. Any of yours turning the wrong way, just switch any two of the three wires from ESC to motor, and it’ll reverse direction.
Good luck, and let us know what the problem was!!
