Ball Link Length

I am looking at ordering the 1/16 Ball Link set (model number BLS-02), but am not sure if it will fit my application. I need to attach the ball link to a 1/16 bracket, however the listing states that ball has a 1/16" threaded stud.

Is the measurement actual, or does it indicate the thickness of bracket that it can be attached to?

The threaded part of the Ball Link Post STB-01 is actually 1/8" long (around 2/3 of it is threaded). It should be long enough for a 1/16" bracket.
