I’m working on the assembly of a t-hex 3DOF hexapod and I’m confused about a portion of the instructions. In the step that I’ve attached it shows putting the ball bearing in an orientation that will not keep the two brackets separated. The result is that when I add the motor, the bearing gets pushed most of the way out of the hole and the two brackets are only separated by the locking washer. While it does rotate, the two brackets are very close and rub against each each other. I assume that I’m missing something in how the two are supposed to be attached but I haven’t been able to figure out what. Unfortunately, none of the images in the instructions or that I’ve been able to find show the joint at an angle where I can verify how it’s supposed to be connected. And in none of the images is the bearing shown most of the way out of the hole as seems to happen in the way that I have it assembled.
I’ve included an image of the portion of the instructions from the page lynxmotion.com/images/html/build167.htm I’m refering to step 5. Any help would be appreciated.,
