well, me having ADHD and all, didn’t help with the other project, so, i was like, wow, this is hard stuff PS2 and stuff, so, my mind floated off, and i thought of the johnny 5, and, i anded up making one
its much less complicated than Jim’s, but its sorta like it, it has a waist rotate, and waist bend, it has 2 DOF arms , id send a pic, but the camera is hiding right now though, and the arms end in multipurpose brackets
but i want to put pokers on it, like the poles with rubber thingsalso, i can use the PS2 controller to control it with codes that are already out there
but, ill get it up as soon as possible, a pic i mean
Chunga showed me it on MSN via webcam. It looks really sick. (Possibly cooler than jim’s ). Reason why its so cool is because the design is rahter simple. I mean like REALLY simple. Only problem is that its mounted to the top of the 4WD1 and not the front. But still looks cool.
That’s where a 2DOF acclerometer/gyro would come in handy.
Whack one on the base and use a linear actuator to move the batteries back and forth to keep balance.
If you don’t like that…
Sticking the bugger in the middle should do well enough.
