I’m new to the forum and thought you could help with a small project. I am using car door lock actuators to release a wood slat. The wood slat will drop down and allow my chickens to enter their nest boxes at 4 am, before I wake up. Then, in the evening, I want to put it back by hand. So, my question is this:** Can a door lock actuator be placed back into the “extended position” by hand?** Or would I have to reverse the polarity with a relay? Doing it by hand would be preferable due to the nature of the task. I appreciate your help.
