Attempting to recell robot dino battery

Hi guys!

I’m attempting to recell a battery pack for a robotic dinosaur. The battery pack is a li- polymer 2s2p 7.4V 2800 mAh (20.72Wh). The batteries are soldered in series (in pairs, each pair has a positive and negative terminal on the board. 4 batteries in total.) so does that mean each lipo pouch is 3.7V at 2800 mAh? My guess is the board is taking the two battery sets that are in series and stepping the voltage down from 14.4v to 7.2v so it has a longer run time but I’m unsure… I’m having difficulty locating lipo’s with this capacity that have the following dimensions: 6.5x39x49mm. Does anyone know a good website for batteries such as these and any opinions or advice is welcome as I’m no expert in batteries.

Here is a link with some photos if anyone needs a visual:

Hi @Dudejustus and welcome to our forum.

If you have 4 LiPo batteries inside, I would guess you have 4 x 3.7V 700mAh, where two are connected in serial connection and then these two are parallelly connected with other two that are in serial connection (2S2P).

For example, it could be these ones: LiPo Battery 700mAh + 3.7V [New]

I hope this helps.
