Attaching the servo horn on the outside of the brackets?

Regarding the C-brackets, I noticed that Grant Imahara uses quite a few SES brackets for his bot that he is making for his movie.

I noticed that he attaches the servo horns on the outside of the bracket rather then on the inside. I suppose either way is valid since there is a through-hole in the middle of the pattern for the screw that holds the horn onto the shaft.

Does anyone else out there use the SES brackets this way? I imagine that it’s just a matter of offsetting the servo a bit forward when mounting it on the ASB-04s to let the servo horn be on the outside of the C bracket… What are the advantages of doing such?

Here’s the pictures that shows the servo horns being mounted on the outside:

Hi,

I think it’s because he is using futaba servos, Hitec and Futaba does probably not have the same dimensions.

BTW, I must say it looks more pretty to place the servo horns inside the brackets
