Hi there,
I just got the starting kit ( ABB + Atom pro 28 ) ordered from Lynxmotion. And was very pleased with the purchased.
The reason I initially ordered this board is because I could use it with an OOPIC-C and do some OO programming.
I went to the basic micro website (basicmicro.com) to get the latest version of the software and firmware. And was really happy when I found out that the Atom pro 28 can now be programmed in C++. It is basically using a GNU C/C++ compiler.
I wrote a quick program that turned on/off the button LEDs, using the IDE.
It’s a really neat tools and easy to use. Although I’ve noticed it has some bugs.
I was wondering if anyone has programmed the ABB in C/C++ and if there are libraries already available that offers robotic functions like the ones available with BasicPro.
If not, maybe I’ll look into design something like that. It would be nice to have something like the OOPIC, but for the Atom pro 28.
Any suggestions? Comments?
Amir.
