just a small enquiry into the Atmega168.
you says its Pre-Programmed!
doed this mean that any Atmega168 from any random store wont work and i need to order one from you.
i have a ATMEGA168-20PU MCU chip (not pre-programmed) laying about, will that work all the same?
Nonono, it being pre-programmed just means that you don’t have to program it yourself… because, you know, we do it for you.
If you buy a chip from another store, it’s not going to have the same firmware on it, so you will have to program it. You can find the firmware here

i just thought you may have added a little bit of LM magic but as this only relates to the firmware ill continue to program. i did try to add the firmware alittle while ago and it wouldnt load. once i attched power the Lynxterm spat out lots of strange symbles and santax iv never seen before.
after looking over the jumpers and pins i noticed the Led was not lit so i will get a new 9v bat tomorrow and try again. that my have been the fualt.
