Assembly help

I am teaching a high school robotics course for the first time. I am only familiar with Lego Mindstorms robots, but I ordered two Arduino Robot Development Kits (RB-rbo-12) for my more experienced students, and this is my first foray into this kind of robotics.

The web site states “soldering required” for the kit, but when it arrived today I was unprepared for what I received: a box of parts with no assembly instructions. I searched in vain throughout the RobotShop.com web site (many links said “Sorry, this page cannot be displayed”), including the forums, to find construction plans. Apparently, either I need guidance in finding them, or I need someone to tell me that this is the way it works–that receiving no instructions is standard. If that is the case, I will still need guidance on how to assemble the robot.

Hi Marc,

We apologize. The product was accidentally removed from the website, but should be up again shortly. The assembly guides / user manuals etc. are within the product description’s “Useful Links” and “Multimedia” tabs.
