Hi,
I’ve got an AL5D that is not responding to a wireless PS2 controller. I’m using the SSC w/Bot BoardII Plus Basic Atom Pro 28 and the" bb only ps2 control" program is loaded into the Basic Atom Pro 28. The other settings are below:
On Bot Board
DAT P12
CMD P13
SEL P14
CLK P15
RX P11
TX P10
Also, on AL5 Programming Tutorial - PS2 RCRev 1 the schematic shows that there are no jumper on the DAT,CMD,ATT,CLK pins that are below the push buttons. Is this correct? Because, when I remove these jumpers, my PS2 receiver lights do not come on. I’ve attached a couple pics of my setup.
Hi, I have not played with this in a long time and no longer have a Lynxmotion Arm as I salvaged some of the parts for other projects.
And your pictures help. Things I would check include:
a) Not sure about your connection between SSC-32 and BB2, It looks like the three wire connector is totally horizontal on the BB2. Usually on these you remove the center Red wire from the connector and plug the connector such that the Black and yellow are hooked up on one IO pin (with black going to ground) and red wire going to the other IO pin…
b) I would run one of the PS2 test programs to see if you are getting valid data from the PS2. Example is in the tutorial: lynxmotion.com/images/html/build034.htm
Thanks for your reply. After reading through the link above I noticed that the red wire on pin 15 is on ground while the black wire is on the signal and yellow on 5+ V. Is this correct?
