Are the robot density relevant with population?

:airplane: According to the World Robotics Report 2024 released by the International Federation of Robotics (IFR) on November 20, 2024, China’s robot in manufacturing has surpassed Germany and Japan, ranking #third in the world. This achievement reflects China’s rapid development and huge investment in the field of automation.

:rocket: Robot density is an important #indicator to measure the degree of automation in the manufacturing industry, referring to the number of industrial robots used per 10,000 employees. The report shows that the global average robot density will reach 162 per 10,000 employees in 2023, more than double that of seven years ago. Among them, South Korea ranks first in the world with 1,012 robots per 10,000 employees, and Singapore ranks second with 770. China ranks third with a density of 470, surpassing Germany’s 429 and Japan’s 419.
