Hello,
I’m looking to build a drone from scratch. Its for a controls class project. Your sight has all the components but I have a question on motors. I do not see anywhere on the motors webpages if they are wound for a specific direction of use. Are the motors you sell, as in the T-motors, etc. Directional dependent? If so, how do you order motors that are designed to spin CW and CCW? Please advise.
Most multirotor use Brushless motor which have no direction specific. If the motor turn the wrong direction you just have to swap two of the three wires and it will turn the other way.
Some manufacturer include different screw mounting option for CW and CCW application so the screws are less prone to un-screw by themselves due to the natural forces.
Other than than, you can get any Brushless motor and you will be fine.
No problem, if you have any other question feel free to ask.
You can as well post about your project, it’s always nice to see new projects come to life.
