Arduino with two different types of motors

Hi, I’d like to control a stepper and DC motor with an Arduino Uno or Leonardo (not sure yet). The stepper draws 1.7A and the DC motor is rated at 300W. I’m not sure but I’m under the impression that I need two motor shields for this to work. If I’m wrong please correct me. Also, are motor shields stackable? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello @Bakalite,

Thank you for contacting RobotShop support.

Here are two stackable, Arduino compatible drivers for the stepper and DC motor:

Please make sure from the other requirements before you go forward with the order, check the voltage range, rated current for the DC motor, etc…

Let us know if you needed any further assistance.

Sincerely,
