Arduino Uno Board Communication Issue

Hello,

I seem to having a communication issue between my DFRobotShop Rover and computer. Every time I try to upload a program through the arduino software I get this error message:

avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 9 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x00 avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding

I am running OS X 10.10.4, arduino 1.6.5, and have the DFRobotShop Rover hooked up to my computer via USB. I have checked that I am hooked up to the arduino uno board under tools as well as the correct port. I am using the “AVR ISP” programmer.

Thank you for your help.

I have narrowed the problem down to my Bluetooth V3 attachment, when I take it off the file uploads fine. Is their something I need to do to configure my Bluetooth V3 once I plug it in?

The Bluetooth module uses the board’s Tx and Rx pins (serial communication). It needs to be removed in order to upload code.
Once the code has been uploaded, you can plug it back in.
