I recently completed assembly and functional testing of a DFRobotShop Rover Basic Kit. I plan on adding several sensors (shaft encoders, ultrasonic rangefinder, and IR rangefinders) to make the rover autonomous. Does anyone have experience with or could recommend a good prototyping shield for the microcontroller? It looks like there are several to choose from in the robot store. Thanks.
We do offer a variety of prototyping shields. The DFRobot I/O Expansion Board has all of the connections you’ll need (shaft encoders and IR are both three pin, ultrasonic can be 4 pin, but the shield has I2C connections).
